Emily Myers - Senior Photo Session

Emily's senior photos were taken down in Fayetteville on the University of Arkansas campus.  We were fortunate enough to capture the tail end of the beautiful foliage!

New Flash!

My new Nikon SB-900 external flash just arrived today!  Shadows will be no match for me now.  :) The flash is large, almost bigger than my camera.  It's very powerful though and really gets the job done.  Here is a picture of the SB-900 on my D50....

Michael and Brianne's Engagement Session

 I am honored that my cousin Brianne and her fiance Michael asked me to photograph their upcoming wedding!  They are such a fun couple!  Look how adorable they are together....

New Computer & New Software!!

I am so excited!!  I just got a brand new MacBook Pro, Adobe Photoshop CS3, and Aperture (an Apple photo editing program).  Now I can really take my photography to the next level!  

My image editing options are now practically endless.  :)

Birthdays and Bookings

Newest Booking: Jessica Do will be getting her Senior Pictures taken this fall!  She loves the changing leaves and wants to get her portraits taken around her Birthday!

My internship with photojournalist, Janet Hudson Schroeder, begins soon!  I will be helping Janet in her studio during shoots, learning more about lighting, and learning the ins-and-outs of Photoshop CS3.  Janet is currently ranked the #1 wedding photojournalist in the state!!

There always seem to be a lot of summer Birthdays.  I have been fortunate enough to capture a few of the, "big blows" to the candles.  Or in some cases....not so big!
